Inspirational Movies Can Change Your Life
I see that I get a lot of requests for movie recommendations, especially for some inspirational movies. It seems that a lot of people want that extra inspiration in their life to push them forward.
Inspirational movies can change your life – if you let them, if not they’ll be just mere entertainment.
However, a lot of people just see these inspirational movies as just that – movies… and they won’t really take to heart what they learn from them.
But maybe I’m wrong, maybe they want to learn, but they may just be blind to their own behavior and routines.
I think Fight Club is a great inspirational movie, and I usually recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet. However, even though people go ahead and watch the movie, and whatever other inspirational film I recommend, they still don’t seem to really take to heart what they learn from that movie.
In Fight Club it’s all about taking control of your life, forgetting routines, and really live your life rather than be owned by your assets, your limiting thoughts, etc.
It’s actually interesting because I actually recommended this inspirational film to a friend and he came back to me and said “woaah that’s such an awesome movie!!” but a few moments later I still see that they are stuck to the same routines, same behaviors, same thought patterns… it’s weird…
… some people just take it as an entertainment rather than some piece of wisdom that can add to your life…
So I want to challenge you
You can browse this site, I’ll probably give some more inspirational movie recommendations, you can even watch again the ones you’ve already seen, because you’ll probably see them in a new light.
But whatever you choose to do, watch old ones or a new one I want to give you a challenge.
After you’ve seen the movie, take a piece of paper and write at least 5 things you’ve learned from the movie. These things can be about life, love, success, etc. whatever inspires you.
Then take a step back and look at your life as it has been up until now – the difference between what you’ve learned and how you thought about that very same thing until now AND how it has affected your life.
After that, write how will you implement the things you’ve learned into your life in order to have a positive effect that will push you forward to where you want to be.
Ok ok, I know what you’re thinking “oh I don’t need to do that because I get what you’re saying”… but really… you don’t… not until you have a goal and have an action plan on how to get there.
You see, if you have a goal when watching inspirational movies – learning something new – then you won’t just watch it and not learn anything. It won’t be just mere entertainment, just a mere 2 day boost.
It will be something different, and if you take my advice and really start doing things that will get you closer to the things you want in life then you will see results – and it won’t be just some movie you saw some time ago. It will be a life changing movie.
Woah! Maybe I’ve overwhelmed you a little bit with this! Seems serious stuff, eh? Well yeah, maybe… It depends how you look at it. I think it’s actually some exciting experiment you can do.
And I’m curious how this goes for you. You don’t really have to do this for all inspirational movies for the rest of your life, no! not at all! Just do it for 3 movies and you’ll see that on the 4th it kinda becomes automatic, your mind really starts looking for the learning and find ways to install them into your life. So if you do this with 3 or 4 movies leave me a comment, I’m curious what your experiences are and what you think about it.
Even if you don’t wanna do it, just leave me a comment and tell me why not, I don’t care, whatever thoughts come into your mind just write a comment and push the add button.
