It’s A Wonderful Life (1946)
I’ve started looking in some older inspirational movies. This black & white movie really is a gem. You should check it out. An angel helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman by showing what life would have been like if he never existed.
Here is the trailer:
You could find it to rent it if you search for it, but I have also found it posted on YouTube.
Check it out (the full movie):
Network (1976)
The movie Network (1976) is quite an interesting movie. I was initially inclined to watch this after I saw the Zeitgeist – which shows parts of this movie.
I did enjoy this movie, however I wouldn’t really say that this is one of the most inspirational movies I’ve saw. There are better, but I think it’s worth seeing it at least once since there are parts of this movie that can be really inspirational to think differently or motivational.
I’ll post some of these parts here as an example.
Check these out.
And here’s the trailer if you want to check it out.
I believe this movie wasn’t explicitly made to be inspirational. So it has everything – a little bit of romance, drama and some motivation. I didn’t like how it ended though, but you’ll have to see that for yourself 🙂

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
This is quite an interesting old 1975 inspirational movie. Quite a weird name for a movie, huh? But a good one none the less.
Notice how the main characters evolve during the movie, and get over, their self imposed limitations.
“Jesus, I mean you guys do nothing but complain about how much you can’t stand it this place, and then you don’t have the guts to just walk out?”
Idiocracy
I think this is an inspirational movie, but I don’t know the reason why… It just looks inspirational for me, and I wanted to post it. I was thinking of the reason why this film is an inspirational movie but I haven’t found it yet, so maybe you can tell me 🙂
Leave me a comment below and tell me the reason.
Checkout the trailer. The movie is called Idiocracy.
The pursuit of happyness
It was about time I’ve recommended a new inspirational movie. This movie The Pursuit of Happyness is one of the best motivational movies I’ve seen. You should check it out.
“Protect your Dreams”
“You want something. Go get it. Period.”
Here is an inspirational segment of this movie.
And here is the trailer
If you haven’t seen the Pursuit of Happyness yet, then get it and see it because it’s worth it. A great inspirational movie about following your dreams.
