This is more of a Hollywood type inspirational movie, but it's a great one.Check out Click on IMDBIt's a movie that you can watch again and again. It contains humor and also a very important life lesson: Don't fast forward your life!It seems that in today's world everyone is just desperately waiting for something for them to truly start living their life. Why not create a life in which you can have the 'good part' all the time? Why not enjoy everything in your life to the fullest ......

Why Motivational Movies?

Motivational movies… huh? why?

This question is asked by people who see this site. Why motivational movies? Why inspirational movies? Why MOVIES?

Well the simple answer is… because! 😉

But let me expand on that. You see the reason I started this site is because I’ve been getting a lot of requests of good motivational movies from friends, then as soon as someone finds out about it from someone else I get even more requests, and I’ve found myself keeping lists (yeah really!) so that I don’t have to think every time someone asks me for a good motivational movie.

But that’s not the point!

The thing is – movies are great!

And we all enjoy a good motivational movie.

Sure, books are great! Going to Fuji is great! Jumping out of an airplane can be great! I’m not excluding all other things.

But the fact is, most of us don’t really have time to read every book – so a movie can be a book in just two hours. Like Peaceful Warrior, first it was a book – then a movie. I still haven’t read the book, but there is enough wisdom in the movie to last a lifetime.

So the bottom line is: Movies = easier, simpler, faster.

The thing is most people get depended on them (yikes!) and they want to watch a movie every day – or even several a day (w00!)

Well then… if all you do is watch motivational movies, then when do you have time to live your life… and to implement what you learn. When do you have the time to use that motivation that was build up from the movie?

You need balance. In everything.

And you need to have goals – what do you want to achieve, where do you want to be in 5 years? Then make action plans on how to get there.

If you just watch motivational movies and have nothing to be motivated about (no goal) then it’s all for nothing. Where do you go from there? What do you do with that motivation? Dunno huh?

So have goals, have action plans and stick with them. Then only watch one or two movies a week or even less. You don’t need to watch a movie every day. What’s the use for that? For what purpose?

So don’t get “hooked” on motivational movies either.

I see people get addicted to the strangest things now a days – I know… we all know…

So what I’m trying to get you to realize is that you need to have balance in your life and control of your life.

Motivational movies are great! Hey I love ’em!

But just know that life is about living your own experiences and creating your own motivational story.

Then you’re really alive!

So go ahead, leave me a comment and let me know what you think about this. You can even tell me some weird addiction you’ve seen or have, had if you’re not embarrassed 😉
